I am not the run of the mill Producer/DJ type
as I am NOT in this for the girls or the fame,
Ok when I First started I though I was BUT
I soon realised that I like to DJ but don't like the Spotlight
( I know that sounds stupid )
This is not a side job I do in my spare time
I own Strictly Underground Records (&others) and music has always been my life.
I live for the music
but I hate the Bullsh^t & Clickyness of the Music Biz..
(there's loads of it and it stinks! Lol)
The dance vibe and the raving is where my hart lives

I create music because I love the dance culture and energy so much.
I still think that I have been very lucky and am still surprised by the reactions I get for what i do (from those that know).
Making music is a dream job (if you can call it a job) and I have got all the dream rewards this business can get you without having to compromise ever! ..but keep checking my blogs?
People say I make great Dance music that lift's people
But I think I'm just like all you ravers out there and I 'm just not trying to make hit records but just good raving records?
I have always managed to avoid all the falseness that success normally brings by keeping my head down, avoiding the music biz ars%^e's and just staying true to my music first!....
I hope myspace does not spoil this for me?
I belive there are two types of Producers/DJ's in this business

The ones that
1) Do anything for the fame in the hope of
getting the rewards later...
OR the ones that
2) Do it for the Love & Passion in the hope
it will make loads of money... Which are you? ;)
People ask why I don't DJ much and
why I always avoid all the press?.....
"I don't like fame! I know fame paints a false picture of you ....and very rare is the one that can get both fame and fortune and still be real."
I always appreciate the comments I get from fans as long as they don't go weird and over the top as its embarrassing and not fun for either of us lol ;)
I'm really a shy person around strangers and don't know how to handle the big ups in the extreme...
Another reason why I don't DJ too much and keep a low profile in the music biz...
For those reading this with no clue as to what I am going on about I apologise but for those that do I would like to thank you all for the years of support and ravin across the globe YOU"VE ALL GIVEN ME! :)

For my part I would like to say that I truly love the Dance music scene more than anything else ....
...My love for ravin in all its forms is without compromise
I don't take what I do lightly and
I don't relish in the popularity I get from it
Although others take advantage of this!
I don't ram my work in people's faces either.
I just do what I love..Make Dance Music..
And I hope it touches others like it does me

My life is this scene and my history in it is deeper than you could ever know. I am lucky to be doing what I do and I know that and respect it....

I am thankful for all the support as without it I would have been stacking shelves in Tesco's ;)........

To all you up and comming Producers...Don't let anyone (even the DJ's) tell you you cannot do it ALL and make it BIG!!
People in the biz will try to put you down and make life difficult
They are afraid of their position being taken so don't like to help
If you belive in yourself know that you can get to the top..
I Did it all with just the help of my friends, suporters and sheer determination to make and promote the music I love...
You can do it too

My most annoying thing in the world is ........when 'Strictly Underground' is missed by the so called lovers of the old skool.
The history and birth movement of Rave was so much a controlled part of Strictly Underground....Music, Raves, Pirate radio, Compilations ect... no one controlled as much or had it as LARGE! in the rave years but only the most POP (uler) seem to get mentioned now days :(
MOST GENUINE DJ's ALREADY KNOW THIS..... BUT I NEED TO MENTION IT FOR THOSE THAT DONT!!
: If you make mix tapes/cd using other peoples music and you give small amounts away FREE I SUPPORT YOU!
small amounts no harm done your just a PROMOTER!!! of your abilitys
BUT if you 'SELL those mix tapes' you are STEALING that music and just reselling it to other people for your own gain....
that make you a THIEF! Please remember you Never own the music so your just ripping off all the producers like me that work so hard to create the songs. dont think that being a dj means you own the music?
This difference between free promotion and bootleging other peoples music is very clear!! DONT SELL MIX TAPES?CDS unless you actually own all the songs your playing!
buying a record does not mean you own the music on it and just because you might make a mix with it dosn't mean you suddenly own the music and the writer of the music dosn't...DONT STEAL
SORRY to be so direct but some people are just stupid enough to think they own mixes they make of other peoples music ? so it needs to be said in a clear honest way..;)

WHY? .....Its not the music directly it the fact that he must have been living my life when he wrote this record!

FILMSCharley and the CHOCOLATE factory (original version) everything about this film is wonderful Gene wilder is a mad but brilliant actor and this film is for people like me ...Kids that will never grow up! When I have bad dreams I think of this film and being in that factory eating everything that it eatable...edible? Even those snosberrys!!
I cry too much at films that arn't even sad...how sad it that!! especially those that have a strong moral meaning when someone does the right thing Selflessly, those are the ones!! boo hoo lol (end of charley and the chocolate factory spring to mind)
MY OTHER FAV IS: KEVIN & PERRY GO LARGE IN IBIZA... The music the madness its all real it brings back so many mad memorys I watch it a lot! and its still funny!..."all i want to do it do it !"
