Vitalik is a musical concept that makes a dynamic interpretation of the electronic minimal and maximal sounds that are now finding new ground. The concept is intrinsically linked to its residents and their approach to music. All of the vitalik team have a noted history in free parties and clandestine underground events. The music they play and the style they play in is a true reflection of what is happening at some of the most positively charged parties in London, Italy and Ibiza.Essentially vitalik music is underground music with vigor, exciting minimal, funky techno and electronic soul.
Vitalik was born out of a series of infamous free parties that were orchestrated in quarries, fields, beaches and most notably massive sea caves around the Island of Ibiza. The organizers of these parties were partners in Ibiza's then only alternative music radio station GreenApple FM. The two in question are Ryan O Gorman (promoter of Electricsex) and Joe Upton (then promoter of Nasty Dirty Sex Music) Vitalik grew from the spirit of these parties and forged its name on Ibiza club land hosting The Red Box at Space for We Love... Sundays at Space. Such was the success of these parties We Love... invited Vitalik back the following year to open Space each Sunday, taking over the cavernous discotheque from 8am - 12pm. We Love Vitalik was a runaway success from day one, attracting between one to two thousand clubbers every week. The fact they had very little publicity and no big name djs is a true indication that a good club night is more than the sum of its parts. Although there were no superstar dj's, vitalik played host to the cream of Europe's new electronic music avant garde with regular guests such as (Shonky, Marc Antona {Freak n Chic}, Anthony Collins {Get Physical}, Ambivalent {M_NUS}, Arnaud Le Texier {Safari Electronique}, Geddes {Connoisseur} and many more joining vitalik's residents Ryan O Gorman and Luciano Esse each Sunday.
Vitalik has established itself in Ibiza and more recently London through their events with Circo Loco at The End and their warehouse parties as a pioneer of new talent and a dissident of conventional clubbing. Their musically diverse take on underground music and their imaginative approach to production separates them from the pack. Their events attract a friendly cosmopolitan crowd with an appreciation for good music.Myspace Layout Stealer Pimp Myspacevisit our dsi group @ www.dontstayin.com/parties/vitalik
