...A little something of a bio:
Levente is Hungarian of origin and to this day still carries his European influence in both his mixing and production material. Due to his wide range of musical appeals, most recently he has stopped naming genres for his styles; rather naming his work as either "dance music" or just "electronic music." Listening to his music will make it clear that almost all genres are touched at any given moment.Beginning strictly as a good listener, Levente didn't start mixing and DJing tracks until about 1998, when he entered college as an aspiring physicist.
There, due to lack of equipment at home, he quickly replied to a small ad in the local College paper asking for Disc Jockeys to be added to their A.M. Programming schedule.
Without any prior experience Levente was 'thrown to the wolves' both as a DJ and a radio announcer on his new show "Sunday Shining" every Sunday night. He learned quickly and also grabbed a few fans on the way, getting him 4 years with his show's successes. Also during these 4 years Levente was able to book himself via word of mouth and listeners, as well as demo cds strewn throughout the small city of Portland in which he lived. One of them, in a local boutique clothing store, caught the ear of a traveling club owner from Canada, and thus resulted in a few shows up there during the next couple years.
Later success brought him to DJ in Washington DC as well as Hawaii; until Levente refocused on working in the studio, producing mixes for multiple radio stations, FM, AM, with a couple broadcasts on USA's XM Satellite Radio. Still keen to behind the scene's work he began submitting to online radio shows, one of them earning him a small reputable show self entitled "Levente Sessions" on tribalmixes.org (subsite of tribalmixes.com). That show still runs monthly to this day. Currently Levente has postponed all DJ gigs to further his ambitions in production of his own tracks. Once again, due to his widespread musical tastes, he is in the process of creating different monikers to cater more towards the appropriate listeners.
Without any formal musical education, Levente stands on the shoulders of his DJ background of many years and musical upbringing by his singer mother and opera singer sister.
