I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4********* U P D A T E ! ! ! 9/08/08 **********Okay, so I moved to SD in June and live in Pacific Beach now after 8 long years of LA (mostly Santa Monica). I used to work in entertainment, bartended at the Abbey for a few years, went to school at SMC, and finally took the plunge for real university and getting outside that craziness. I'm currently attending UCSD's Eleanor Roosevelt College for the International Studies Program specializing in Economics and Political Science. I live about 1.5 blocks from the beach and try to surf or run on the beach everyday. I love the outdoors and sunshine, as well as bars with friends every once in a while (more of a summer thing, lol!). I love movies, books, magazines and newspapers. The Economist, Scientific American, and Foreign Affairs are my big 3 mags, and love the LA and NY Times. I love wikipedia, and am a CNN junkie as well. I'd someday ideally like to get involved with world finance markets and write public policy as well as directly organize micro-lending both internationally and domestically. And, at some point, I'd also like to intern for the World Economic Forum. Okay, I think that's my most exciting attributes and feel free to contact me if you think we're a match (or friends already, duh!!).Also, I think I'd make a pretty good President!! So *VOTE FOR BRETT 20__?* (hint, hint!!) Super!! Anyways, I'm single and interested in meeting passionate and talented people that have a good head on their shoulders for friends or maybe more. Someone that can move like Justin Timberlake in bed, lol!! And is hot, smart, confident, talented, and into me, too. And Bill Clinton!! Yeah, random, but I'd totally freak out!! Really, I'm attracted to good looks (who isn't?) and intelligence, a great sense of humor, and really like motivated people who can accomplish any goal. Compassion and political awareness is a must. I strive to change the world someday for the better. Would be cool if you did, too. And, oh yeah, there is nothing worse in the world to me than stupid people with strong opinions!! Hahah!! Totally in love with Death Cab for Cutie, and Postal Service!! Love house music, too. I listen to my college's NPR radio station alot. Check out KCRW.org ... they have a live simulcast, or music, or news. Good shit!!

Movies:

Soapdish, Goonies, Princess Bride are probably the main 3. I could go on for days, though. I used to fake illness to sit at home and watch HBO in middle and high school. The doctors thought I was very sick, lol!!

Books:

Aldous Huxley "Brave New World", George Orwell "1984", Issac Asimov "I, Robot", Kurt Vonnegut "Mother Night", Phillip Pullman "His Dark Materialss" trilogy, Randy Shilt "And the Band Played On" are some of my faves. Pretty I love science fiction, social critique through dystopian political analysis, and anything in contemporary American literature. Kurt Vonnegut is my absolute favorite!! =) I LOVE to read!!
