My favourite music is European Hard Trance and Psy Trance (DJ SUTEKH, CAI LIVE, UBERDRUCK, SIRIUS ISNIS, SHOKK + FLUTLICHT, ESKIMO, DYNAMO, COMMERCIAL HIPPIES, MARK EG, HENNES AND COLD, A*S*Y*S, 1200 MICROGRAMS to name only a very very few!!) and Dirty Dirty Electro! (BOOKA SHADE, TIEFSCHWARZ, TRENT MOLLER, CLAUDE VON STROKE, KRAFTWERK, LUCIANO, DAMIEN LAZERETH, GEDES.......T-BAR, RETOX, 54, CIRCOLOCO) but was raised on Hip Hop (WU-TANG, RZA, J-ZONE, TALIB + MOS DEF,DR OCTOGON, KRS-1, LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND, TUPAC, BIGGIE, EMINEM, GREEN LANTERN, MF DOOM, EDAN, PHI LIFE CYPHER). I also love Stone Roses, Jose gonzalez, 80's synth pop (NEW ORDER, DEPECHE MODE, TEARS FOR FEARS) and loads more. Also, the specials on Kevlar's menu at the mo are some Breaks, Funky Summertime House, Dark Hardcore, and some DnB (Hardcore Dutch DnB is rocking!) ... most dance music anything with a filthy, banging bassline, hefty kickdrums and flowing synths!! Music that makes the hairs all over your body stand on end!!! NO CHEESY BULLSH*T. STANDARD.
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas (Johnny Depp is legendary in this film). ITS ALL GONE PETE TONG! (Never really liked Paul Kaye until this movie!..he is outstanding)!!! very tragic yet uplifting story of the spiraling life of the deaf DJ, Frankie Wilde. Definately recommend to anybody involved in the club or DJ scene! I love my comedies ACE VENTURA 1 and 2!!!!!!(Jim Carey, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Dave Chappelle, Jay and Silent Bob, Will Farrell) and martial art movies...Ong-Bak, Warrior King etc (Tony Jaa, Jackie Chan, Yein Biau, Samo Hung, Donnie Yen). Oh yeah...cant forget about the stand up comedies..robin williams, def jam, eddie murphy (you cant beat RAW).
Family Guy, American Dad, Simpsons, Futurama, Sopranos, Trailer Park Boys, South Park, Lost, Prison Break, Planet Earth, Blue Planet, King of Queens, Any National Geographic or Discovery Channel shows (I know..I know,I am a traitor!!!)..... Nuff said.!
Hunter S Thompson...the ultimate gonzo writer!! all his books are absolute classics! I also love the books "Smokescreen" and "Snowblind" by Robert Sabbag. A bit of positive inspiration came from the book "YES MAN" by danny Wallace. At the moment i am reading "THE JOKES OVER -memories of Hunter S Thompson" by Ralph Steadman and "Why dont penguins feet freeze" by the boys at New scientist magazine.
