Hi I’m Ali.
I'm was born in England but raised as a proud Scot by my patriotic parents. Lived in Preston most my life but escaped to Derby uni in 2003 and got a degree in creative writing. With no idea what to do next I got elected as a sabb(I think the american term is 'big man on campus')and edited the student mag for a year. Fate than stuck his big oar in and got me a job at a radio station in Manchester. Now I think of ways to convince people to advertise on radio even when they don't want to, like a professional liar!
I like laughing at stupid stuff. Usually offensive stuff and I'm pretty obsessed with all things media, but specifically music. There's so much good stuff out there to check out.
I play the guitar and if it wasn’t for my darned apathy I’d probably have a platinum record by now. Now I harbour ambitions to write for a living.
My main goals in life are:
Write a sitcom.
Own a drum kit.
Grow a beard.
Live in New York.
