intellectual beauty is my unseen power

About Me

I like coffee, gingerbread, reading, white wine, Jonny Depp, lying in bed, television, the Mighty Boosh, philosophical debates, expensive make up, avocados, getting drunk, The Pixies, Tarantino films, chocolate hobnobs and angels.I dislike the cold, fat people, mushrooms, my insomnia, feeling hungover, prawns, extreme feminism, government taxation, Eastenders, Razorlight, scallies and public transport. I am completely irrational, clumsy, I over analyse everything and I struggle to retain a balance in all aspects of my life as I fling from one extreme to the other.I agonise over making decisions and live in constant fear of making the wrong choice! But I go by the general philosophy that everything happens for a reason (lame but true!)Having graduated with first class honours last summer I temporarily work for a media company at Key 103 in Manchester as a marketing researcher but in the little spare time I have I am building a writing portfolio in preparation for a fast-track course in Journalism this September! I know exaclty what I want and have high ambitions for a career in the media so watch this space!PS For those who don't realise... my name refers to my favourite poem by Percy Shelley it isn't an egotisical depiction my cleverness!

I'd like to meet:

On here I guess I'd like to meet anyone who can offer character to my boring life and maybe teach me something new and interesting! Also anybody able to offer work-expereince in print or broadcast investigative journalism. P.S: No weirdos or perves please! As for the unattainable I'd love to meet William Shakespeare as his work sparked my passion for English Literature and introduced me to the aesthetic power of language. Also Sigmund Freud to have a chat with the old fellow since he was possibley the most influential figure of the 20th century (and lets face it that guy had some bizzare ideas!)And finally the hero that is Dave Grohl for so many reasons I couldn't possibley list them all!
