Andy BopH is no stranger to the dance music scene. Hailing from the North West of the UK, his love for electronic music began at the tender age of 15 when he got his first set of decks - a passion that has manifested and grown for 12 years. Getting his first gigs at 16 he was regularly playing the warm up slot at a local club along side some of Liverpool’s finest DJs; Pez Tellet, Dave Graham, to only name a few.
Fast forwarding to today, Andy is not content to mix on 2 decks & a mixer, he is know to add 3 decks into the mix as well as using FX units. Blending dirty electronic beats he fuses sets that will leave the dance floor stunned. With his technical wizardry he implements FX with creative flair to deliver sets that are destroying dance floors! Along with coming 3rd in the North of England Corona DJ competition he played over 260 gigs last year, including legendary Empire in Teesside and the newly refurbished PrintWorks in Manchester.
His debut track “Everybody” was signed to Spank Records which was promoted via Power Promotions and received a great response from top DJs. Debuting in at number 14 in the Upfront Club Breakers chart, beating of the likes of Beyonnce ft Jay-Z 'Deja Vu' and the Black Eyed Peas’ very own Fergie.
It wasn’t until 2007 when Andy BopH & Kelvera’s track Chain Reaction was signed to UMM that things really started to take off, soon after UMM signed Rat Trap. Since then he has remixed A List artists such as Mauro Picotto and Mark Mendes. The Mauro Picotto remix reached 2 in the upfront club chat and has had a vinyl release on Mauro’s own label SW4 Records. Andy’s tracks have also been featured on iTunes compilations and an internationally released 2xCD compilation.
Andy BopH’s productions have been aired on various radio stations including the legendary Annie Nightingale’s show on Radio ONE, Riley & Durrants NuBreed show on Galaxy and Simon Dales show on KissFM. Andy’s productions have been supported the likes of Mauro Picotto, Stonebridge, Chris Lake, Judge Jules, Rob Tissera, Bimbo Jones, Sucker DJs, Sonny Wharton, Jim ‘Shaft’ Ryan, Amber D, Steve Murano, plus many many more.
