Soundtracks to imaginary movies

About Me

I used to call it Musique Concrète, but almost no one in the USA knew what I was talking about. So now I just call it Sound Collage. I dig long tones and as I grew tired of knobs and wires, I picked up the didgeridu. More fun to jam with than a computer. Telling stories is one of my major interests, sometimes I use words.
My new album of stories from Ovid set to music is now available from CD Baby

Why was Paradise Lost?

Setting Book One of Milton's Paradise Lost to music has been pretty thought provoking as well as fun. Nothing like the Classics to make one step back from the fray a bit, tedious though they may be. I...

Cultural Alzheimers

Look how our music tools have evolved in the last 20 years. We can edit to 1/48,000 of a second, we have random access mixing. Our synthesis capability is dramatically improved. We have physical model...
