About Me

I'm Jonny Scott Blair. I am currently proud to be the chairman of the South of England Northern Ireland Supporters Club. It is my favourite job in the world and I cant envisage a life without it. We meet in random towns and turn them green and make people happy. As a human being, you cannot ask for anything more in your day. Some quotes about the SOE NISC: "You guys r headers" - Rebecca Corish (Northern Ireland ladies international) "This is without doubt the maddest NISC in the world" - Shaun Schofield (Author and full-time genius)I am currently working in a lovely theatre in Bournemouth serving alcohol to consumers. It's nothing short of capitalism, but I love and cherish each moment.I was in a Hammersmith office doing public relations assistant for cool brands such as Sonos, Tiger and Apple. Dream it all up again. "It really really really could happen".I live in sunny sunny Bournemouth, which is the happiest place in the UK to live. I think I'm dumb, maybe just happy.I went travelling for 78 days of culture, wisdom, love, life, people and memories. I banged in 19 countries during this time and saw some amazing things. The Great Wall of China, Gullfoss, Victory Square, Lake Taupo, Empire State Building, Tour Eiffel amongst many other sights. This wisdom is all on my blog: http://jonnyscottblair.blogspot.comSince leaving my wartorn Northen Ireland in 2003, I have lived mainly in Bournemouth, Dorset, but also in London and Kent. I fell in love with Bournemouth from day one. Seeing Warren Feeney net winners against Brighton and Rushy D in my first month there helped...as did meeting Warren a few times at the Fitness First Stadium at Dean Court. I've been a massive AFC Bournemouth fan ever since and hope to get another season ticket next year. 6-0 up we were having a laugh. My dream I feel was ended by Hartlepool's Adam Boyd in 2005..."Up the cherries, in all departments"I started a degree in Bournemouth in 2003 but havent finished it yet. I got pre-occupied with keeping myself happy, which was more important. I may get this degree at some point. "Take what you need and be on your way, but stop crying your heart out"I have also been presenting on radio since 1997. It is a passion and a hobby, so not sure if my little enclave could become a full-time job. In 1997 I was on a radio show I set up from the Belvoir Park estate in murky Belfast. During this time I met some cool people who I since havent seen. Drop me a line Keith Thompson, Jon Kerr, Vicky Everitt and Julie Cole. In Bournemouth I DJ-ed on Nerve Radio. My "jonny blair on the air" show is still alive and a memory to treasure. Any requests? "Music makes the people come together"I support Glentoran FC. We play our home games in East East East Belfast. Le jeu avant tout!I support AFC Bournemouth, Glentoran and mainly Northern Ireland. They are all amazing in their own way. I also have a soft spot for Colchester following my visit to Layer Road and the legends they have had recently such as Greg Halford, Neil Danns and Chris Iwelumo.I used to manage a band called the waves who have sadly split up. I am still in love with music, life and people. There is no Masterplan. We're here for a reason. Let's enjoy it.DON'T STOP LIVING!!

I cried at his funeral. Norman Whiteside will always be a king in any Castle I own. I really fancy Louise Wener and need to read her new book. Sleeper are bizarelly under-rated.
