I'm a witch, yes - really! But you won't find a green face, long nose or a wart. Witches have suffered seriously bad press in the past, but you know something, it's time folks moved on. Witchcraft is a way of life for me, it's in everything I do. I like my herbs, my crystals, divination equipment and candles. Although I am not Wiccan it does not mean that i'm a 'bad witch'. My path is more traditional and based more on the seasons. My mother is a witch, and very good at making poppets I might add, her mother was a witch and I'm told that others before us also were. My mother (as others before her) are firm believers is giving back what you get, so yes, she might use a little magick to help karma on it's way if wrong has been done to the family. But this doesn't mean we go around hexing or anything. It isn't quite as black and white as that. I know that there is always a reaction to an action and by changing/influencing things you can sometimes gain immediately but somewhere down the line it could have changed future events and issues and maybe, just maybe you will suffer for your meddling.I respect all paths and truly find them interesting, but it already appears that in The Craft there is prejudice and the bond that unites us all has weakened. Quarralling about which path was here first or which is more ethically acceptable have driven divides amongst us.
