About Me

Malasangre was formed in the year 2000, with the aim to play some slow, filthy and psychedelic music. Just from the very beginning, it was clear that Malasangre had almost no Metal or traditional Doom Metal influence, as they sounded more like slowed down HC-punk band. After a handful of show and a few rehearsal they managed to enter the studio and to have their first promo recorded; shortly after, it turned into a full-length album called A bad trip to (Red Sun Records,2001), whose raw and smoked sound stands between Electric Wizard and Nightstick. And then their tunes had slowly got more primitive, darker and heavier. The result of a further barbarization is Inversus, a three chapter full-lenght album that saw the light in 2005, thanks to Nothingness Rec, after we had had some troubles with a well known Dutch label. After some years of hard work and isolation, Malasangre peered at the European extreme Doom scene. They took part in 2004 at the Ashes to Ashes, Doom to Dust fest and shared the stage with bands like Moss, Bunkur, Forgotten Tomb, Wormphlegm, Planet AIDS. Another great help to spread their name was given by the 4-way split(Bunkur, Malasangre, Stabat Mater, The Sad Sun) Church of the Flagellation(Catacomb music,2004). Nowadays, Revelation CCXXXIX is the song that best fits our current sound: psychedelic, primitive and dark black doom. Despite our quite long break, we put much of an effort in a Doom project(Caput LVIII, youll hear more soon)during last year. The most important thing is that were back now. Some shows are in our plans and a couple of new cursed track are being developed...the Mafiadoom will catch you!!!
