The Midnight Deathtrap Quartet

Do what we say and nobody gets hurt...

About Me

Nobody reads the "band bio" part of the page, but here it is anyway: The Midnight Deathtrap features current and former members of The Quick and the Dead, Nektare, The Johnny Satanseed Express, and Paris Railroad among others. We're variously from NYC, Boston, SanFrancisco, New Haven and elsewhere. When we were little children, each of us sold his soul for Rock and Roll, just like the old cliche says to do. Not a bad investment; kinda like trading lunches with the kid sitting next to you, only more sinister. Our website is under reconstruction, so don't go there; construction sites are dangerous, and you could get hurt, and then we'd be pestering you to share your pain medication and stealing it when you said no, and nobody wants any of that.-------------------------------------------- Rock'n it at 14below.

Influences: The Stooges, The Rolling Stones, The Damned, Los Lobos, The Doors, The Sex Pistols, Sly and the Family Stone, Led Zeppelin, Morphine, Black Sabbath, GnR, AC/DC, The Beatles, Jane's Addiction, Nirvana, The Ramones, Social Distortion, Aerosmith etc etc etc....
Sounds Like: Rock n Roll, really loud, really fast, but oddly different in a way you can't quite describe. John Coltrane sitting in with The Damned, or Art Pepper (on a baritone sax) with The Sex Pistols. Guns n Roses vs Sly and the Family Stone. AC/DC vs Los Lobos. There's an old story about Miles Davis hanging out doing coke with Iggy and the Stooges and declaring himself to be a fan of theirs........what if he'd joined the band? All photos on our profile are by Yasmine Zapp, Deborah Fox and Genevieve DBF
