About Me

Well here I am with my current project Imperial Black no point writing this in 3rd person context like some monkey is doing the rounds for me...I started playing music as guitarist Vocalist in 1987 In a band from Ipswich U.K called "Malicious Intent" a thrash /black metal crossover influenced by bands like Celtic Frost, Venom, Slayer, Possessed, Bathory and our local Thrash hero's Annihilated .I live in Kent these days. Ive worked on projects live and in the studio (about 9 studio international cd releases to date) but still to finish the Imperial Black Debut which is taking shape as we speak . What your listening to here from my music player are home recordings in preproduction to the Imperial Black Debut.Please note I like to check who I'm adding (I don't go round sending out hundreds of friend requests to make this profile look popular) so If your profile is set to private that might just not happen, so I apologise in advance!!!

Influences:Dead Can Dance , Celtic Frost , Venom , Bathory , Fear Factory , Obituary , Metal Church , The Prodigy ,Massive Attack, Portishead, Candlemass ,Balsagoth, Halford ,White Zombie. My favourite drummers are Reed st Mark & Bobby Jarzombek.
Sounds Like:Some kind of epic pompous cement mixer to most but to me reviving something of what bands like Venom ,Celtic Frost ,Possessed & Bathory inspired in the earliest form of Death Metal .
