I'd like to meet:

I like to meet serious people who view life as a chance to make a positive contribution to the world and who view every encounter as an opportunity for self growth.
North Georgia musicians who like informal acoustic jam sessions. We jam together once a month. Send me an email for info.

Music:

Rachmaninov and Beethoven http://www.atlantasymphony.org

Rachmaninov

acoustic folk-rock, CSNY, Eagles, America, The Band, Dylan. I play guitar and covers of many musicians, and a few origonal instrumentals for fun. Open mics and jams and such.

Television:

never watch TV, well almost never.

Books:

Science, Mathematics, History and primarily non-fiction. Particularly history of Austria, Holy Roman Empire, KuK, and Eastern Europe.

Heroes:

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." John Stuart Mill
