Biography
In 2002, I retired from 25 years of work in medical research and medical science policy. My major field was neuroscience, but teaching in medical schools required me to have additional knowledge in many fields of medicine. These experiences have educated my portrayal of characters with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
In addition to those activities and now, in addition to my acting career, I am a mother, a gardener, a dancer, and a music (all kinds) fan.
Since childhood, I have been an avid reader of almost anything. I believe that with the right books and a long weekend, one can learn how to do anything, except motor skills.
Probably the four most important things that I've learned from life are: 1. People are not all alike, and that is wonderfully good, 2. Money is just a tool, 3. Happiness is a skill, and 4. I might be wrong about the first three.

Because I Like The Colours
Your Personality Profile
You are dignified, spiritual, and wise.
Always unsatisfied, you constantly try to better yourself.
You are also a seeker of knowledge and often buried in books.
You tend to be philosophical, looking for the big picture in life.
You dream of inner peace for yourself, your friends, and the world.
A good friend, you always give of yourself first. The World's Shortest Personality Test
and surprisingly, it is sort of right.
Your Dosha is Pitta
You have a quick mind, a gift for persuasion, and a sharp sense of humor.
You have both the drive and people skills to be a very successful leader.
Argumentative and a bit stubborn, you have been known to be a little too set in your ways.
But while you may be biased toward your own point of view, you are always honest, fair, and ethical.
With friends: You are outgoing and open to anyone who might want to talk to you
In love: You are picky but passionate
To achieve more balance: Be less judgmental of those around you, and take cool walks in the moonlight. What's Your Dosha?

My Interests

Where I've Lived:

Chicago IL, Evanston IL,
Deerfield IL, Sarasota FL,
Seattle WA, London UK,
Munich BRD, Madison WI,
Bethesda MD, Silver Spring MD,
Los Angeles CA

I'd like to meet:

Johnny Depp, Goldie Hawn, Garry Marshall, Steve Martin, Julia Roberts, and Danny Sussman, because I think that they'd be interesting to talk with about anything. I'd also like to meet Garry Marshall, because I've had a crush on him since watching the way he gave feedback to the "On the Lot" contestants. Probably there are many other intelligent, Menschlichen people out there whom I've never heard of, but would enjoy meeting. Please stop by and say hello.

BTW - My Top Twenty Friends method is that when I change the tune on my profile, I move that artist to first place of my Friends. How I choose the tune? - well, that's the madness, my personal madness.

Music:

I love discovering new music to enjoy, and still would like to be a rock musician someday.

I have played the violin and viola and I enjoy the good stuff of any genre of music. Different moods and different occasions, different music.

Movies:

It's difficult for me to sit still that long, but a few films have glued me to my seat. They are:

Awakenings, The Big Chill, Dr. Zhivago, Fargo, The Fisher King, Good Will Hunting, Harold and Maude, Journey from the Fall, Last Tango in Paris, Momento, Patch Adams, The Pawnbroker, The Princess Bride, Schindler's List, Sophie's Choice, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Turning Point, The Usual Suspects, La Vita bella, Zorba the Greek - - - for a start

Television:

is homework for an aspiring actor, but I'd watch NIP/TUCK and BROTHERS AND SISTERS no matter what.

Heroes:
