THE TRUTH.....(and I'd be all like..Man, where you been!)
This is a sensitive subject..I ride to everything from Tommyknocka, Cube, and 40, to Nirvana and Miles Davis....I grew up during the golden era of hip hop: NWA and Public Enemy, so I'm mosty right wing underground real, but I can appreciate the radio for what it is....entertainment. While I do agree with voices like Spike Lee and Super PRist Joy Huffman that "radio rap" is setting extremely destructive standards for the black community, in particular young black men, I blame exploitive media moguls more than the rappers with dollar sign pupils. Wait...what was the question again?
Depends if we are going Dutch or not.
