In Watermelon Sugar and anything by Richard Brautigan, I really enjoyed PULP by Charles Bukowsky as well as his poetry, The Dharma Bums and most Jack Keroac books. Communion and the abduction books by Whitley Streiber. Aliens and Angels are quite possibly one and the same. I've read lots of Alien related books in my youth. Everything from Nikola Tesla biographies to Julia Butterfly. Whatever I find interesting right? currently reading Eric Clapton's autobiography
