My nickname is Emgee (MG). I am a mutt, but everyone thinks I'm just a white girl. I'm fickle and disorganized. I aspire to live my life so that I will have quality crazy old lady tales to tell my grandkids (like my grandma did for me...although she was a notorious fibber). I was raised a Buddhist, but told I was a Catholic...which makes me confused.
It took several major changes (chemistry, psychology, biology, and so on), but I am finally about to graduate from CSUEB as an anthropology major/political science minor. My plan is to one day have a meaningful, worthwhile career as a third (or thereabouts) grade teacher...but in the meantime I've had a slew of jobs including, but not limited to: bartender, photographer, laboratory assistant for a biotech company, lifeguard, archaeologist, secretary for a water bottling company, and various sales positions through out the local mall.
In my free time I enjoy finding engrish, fishing for compliments, learning random facts, having high school reunions at parties, reading Newsweek (or just looking at the pictures/graphs), exploring and adventuring, wasting all my money at dive bars, staring blankly at the insides of textbooks, not wearing pants, occasionally making insightful commentary, getting attention from handsome (or, if I'm desperate, somewhat ok looking) men, telling people that I'm too busy to hang out because I plan to clean my room/move to another state, and, obviously, making my parents very proud.
