Stuff about me and what I love and like: I love Jesus cause He loves me! I have known Him for almost 15 years. He's the best! It's really cool to see Him in places I never expected! Some of my heroes are: Brennan Manning, Mike Yaconelli, people who live in Alaska, Chuck Smith, Tom Petty, Sherman Lim, Rich Mullins, my Grandma, Billy Joe Shaver, Jim & Elizabeth Elliot, Martin & Gracia Burnham, Billy Mills, Steve Prefontaine, my Pastor, lots of loser Bible characters who believed God, and lots of others.... I was in the Army. I'm a recovering pretty legalistic Pharisee. I love God's grace! I've been on Iceland for about 4 hours. I enjoy the Appalachian Trail and all its hikers, spent about 5 months on the trail walking from Georgia and ending up in Vermont in 2003. The simple pleasures were illumined, making it a truly awesome and super crazy adventure! I believe that music is a great thing as well. I'm stoked that way back in the day Jesus thought it up and spoke it, or maybe sang it into existence. I've been discovering music thru guitar for about ten years. Music, nature, and people are amazing but I think the One that created them is alot more. It's really amazing how all of these are attributes/characteristics of God. They are kind of like arrows pointing upward to Him (but it is pretty tragic when they're only seen as ends). Never really been that interested in having things too figured out, especially my thoughts on God, music theory, or circumstances in general. I plan on being interrupted and then I'm not .... glad to say I'm usually led more than driven. I don't really feel like I'm missing out on alot of stuff, the Lord is my Shepard and everything's a gift. I do however want to understand the nature of gift giving a little better (like how gifts are free). For the last almost 4 years I've been living in Texas where I have learned to go crazy on a forklift while navigating the labyrinth of a local distribution warehouse. Just recently became a youth pastor at my church! I love it!
