One stormy night towards the end of his life, Hank Williams snr, found himself stranded in Baton Rouge. Informed that there would be no transport out for at least two days, Mr Williams snr, instead of stagnating in his hotel, headed off to the nearest recording studio. When he arrived the studio was deserted, except for a young engineer come tape operator by the name of Osbourne Ruddock. For two days they jammed and recorded some of Mr Williams snr's finest ideas. Now for reasons known only to Fate, these tapes were lost in the mist of time, until one day they were discovered by Wilson Tan. The songs and sounds on these tapes became Wilson Tan's blueprints for what is now known as "Country Dub." ......The young Osbourne Ruddock later became better known as King Tubby.
