About Me
Cowboy is a 24 year old native of Tennessee. Born in Memphis and raised in Nashville, Cowboy is now on the verge of springing into the mainstream rap scene with the latest release of his groups album, Da Block Hustlaz. Cowboy has been one of the hottest underground artist in Nashville for the last several years. In 1999, with an underground release of his first album, Cowboy and Mista Cottrell, Moneymakers , Cowboy established his self and his record company, Buck Wild records, as a respected force on the local scene in Nashville. Cowboy then ran into problems with the law, and ended up having to do a short amount of time in jail. Cowboy and the G-Unit superstar Young Buck were child hood friends and grew up together. Both were on the verge of breaking out of the local scene at the time of Cowboy's first incarceration. Upon his release, Cowboy then released another album locally Buck Wild Souljaz. With this release Cowboy and Buck Wild records were on the verge of becoming the first independent label from Nashville to get a major deal. Promotions and recording began for Cowboys first solo release in 2000. However, in July of 2000 Cowboy ran into more problems with the law. This slowed the process of his solo recording. Before Cowboy was able to completely finish his album he was incarcerated. From Sept. 2000 until Dec. 2002, Cowboy was withheld within prison walls. An uncut version of Cowboys solo album was pressed up, but never officially released. Upon his release this time, he is focused and determined on pushing his label to the top. Cowboy has now released his latest album, July 27 2004 nationally through KOCH distribution, entitled Da Original Block Burners. He has also started a new entertainment company, Titan Entertainment and a new magazine called Urban Living. Cowboy has been featured in magazines such as Murder Dog, O-Zone, Street Mos, and more. With his company hitting the road this summer, Cowboy has ties and an audience across the country. Cowboy has been releasing mixes for himself and his artists to close out the 2004 and keep things moving. Four albums are slated to release nationally in the first two quarters of 2005, Cowboy's solo album, his group Da Block Hustlaz debut album, Da Buck Wild Mafia Compilation and Da Moneymakers compilation featuring all of the south's hottest artist. Along with this Cowboy also runs a clothing company and is looking into other business endeavors. This is not your ordinary person, artists, or entrepreneur. Cowboy is currently looking to strike a deal, that will no doubt put him in his place. ON TOP! Cowboy is also the owner and CEO of Urban Living Magazine.
