MUSIC, I love music, all types. It is simply soothing to me.I will always be an Earth, WInd & Fire fan. They just have a sound that is incredible. My all time favorite will always be Reasons...the new Pure Gold is a hit with me.I have been a fan of Prince since the release of "I Want to be your Lover", and Adore will always be my Slow Jam.I grew up listening to AL Green, he was my mothers favorite artist. I still love it when I hear him sing Unchained Melody.. I also love the sounds of Simply Red when they sing Unchained Melody.Now that I am approching my mid's I think that the southern soul sound is my nitch. I love the sound and I love the artist. They say that you have to experience the Blues to understand them. I can honestly say that that statement is true and Correct for me....Reggie P you sang it when you said WHY ME! TK you hit the note with Cheating and Lying and Renea you brought it home when you said it takes a Dirty Woman....Willie Clayton...My props for Going Crazy and Lenny you sang it when you said ... Can't Nobody do me like you baby.....Everywoman wants a Lee Shot WIlliams.. He is the Nibble Man and OH Ms. Monique ...Lollipop...You go girl....and Bruce Billus did it when he produced Mel Waiters ..Throw Back Days and Lebrado Missing you but he put the STANK on it when he put Theodis and Lebrado together and called it FRANCINE...Now if you do not have any idea who any of these artist are then you need to get you a subscription to the chittlin' circuit magazine...www.chittlincircuit.com...you need to check out, The Boogie Report(www.theboogiereport.com), Funky Larry at the Southern Soul and Blues Report or even check out the Blues Critic out in California...We all know what Southen Soul is and We Love the Sound.
