Straight from the streetz of North Nashville, and packed to the brim with clever lyrics and heartfelt cries, Dawn Lady $ Dolla Harrington, has the staying power and business savvy that makes her a hardcore hip-hop diva, ready for the world. She always had a fondness for writing poetry and began freestyling with her older male cohorts and writing rap lyrics at age 16. Lady Dolla first hit the stage in 1997, when she joined the group Wyldstylz. The group, consisting of two male rappers (Trauma T & AZ) and Lady Dolla, performed throughout Middle Tennessee, including a hot appearance on a local television show, entitled Night Beat. After Wyldstylz disbanded, Lady Dolla worked with other groups, as well as the label, Playaway Entertainment, headed by her childhood friends, Lonell Mathews and producer, Street Symphony, BlockLife Records, F.A.M. Records, Black Juice, Shune, Big Fella, P. Moses, and F.O.D. She quickly made a name for herself and gained recognition, opening for artists such as Layzie Bone, Yo Gotti, and Gangsta Boo, which allowed her to book more shows as a solo attraction. Lady Dolla also spread plenty of love to the underground hip-hop scene, making cameo appearances on several albums and mix-tapes, especially in the Southeastern region, including several projects on F.A.M. Records such as Maal The Pimps BUSINESS AS USUAL.After releasing her debut underground album, SCARS, which sold 3000 strictly out of tha trunk, Lady Dolla hooked up with super producer and engineer, Dave Aron (Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Prince, Madonna, Bobby Brown). Together, they created a masterpiece in one week from Arons Hollywood, California studio. Lady Dolla came back to Nashville and added some of her own southern flava to the project. The album, SCARFACE, (In Stores Now) is hot and spicy and will leave your mouth watering for more. And Lady Dolla is ready and willing to give you moreher third release SCARFACE II featuring the hot new single and video, Ride That will hit stores summer 2006.
