About Me

One of two keyboard players for Long Island's #1 Pink Floyd tribute band, Project Floyd (www.myspace.com/projectfloyd).

My Interests

Music (of course), history, photography, religion and spiritual subjects, politics (though not lately), baseball, auto racing, humor/comedy, writing, fishing, boating, hiking, etc.

Music:

Be sure to check out my band, Project Floyd, at www.myspace.com/projectfloyd. My favorite band is Yes. I mainly listen to Classic/Progressive Rock (Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, Kansas, Dream Theater, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Who, The Moody Blues, Dire Straits, etc.).

Movies:

This Is Spinal Tap; A Hard Day's Night; The Blues Brothers; most of the Star Trek movies; Pulp Fiction; Office Space; Beavis And Butthead Do America; Apollo 13; October Sky; all of The Godfather movies.

Television:

The Prisoner; The Twilight Zone; Star Trek (OS & TNG); The X-Files; Monty Python's Flying Circus; The History Channel; FoxNews (until I can't stand it anymore); Metalocalypse; Beavis And Butthead; Futurama; Family Guy; Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law; ancient clips of Ernie Kovacs, Steve Allen, Sid Caesar and all other TV pioneers; Looney Tunes; Speed Racer; Saturday Night Live (Original Cast); SCTV.

Books:

Pretty much anything by Tom Clancy or Caleb Carr; currently, I'm reading up on the technology of music, which can be an endless list of titles; I recently enjoyed reading several biographies and personal accounts of Classic Rock musicians. Occasionally, I'll read books about UFOs, conspiracy theories and politics, most of which end up in my sci-fi (with various works of Arthur C. Clark) or humor (Monty Python's Big Red Book, which has a BLUE cover, books by Dave Barry, The Far Side series, etc.) piles.

Heroes:

Richard Wright, David Gilmour, Rick Wakeman, Tony Banks, Keith Emerson, Jon Lord, Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Paul McCartney, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Derek Smalls, Viv Savage...
