Dont look at me... it was broken when I got here.

About Me

Me? Who wants to talk about me? I mean... well... I supposed there are people out there who *could* be interested...What?Ok, jeez... you don't have shout.I'm a married 36 year old white male from New York with 3 children (all boys).Somewhere in the twisted corridors of my past I managed to gradute from High School and College and find a woman desperat... err... FORTUNATE enough to marry me (my high-school sweetheart). Thirteen years later I work in publishing, write in my spare time, and caretake the little midget terrorists that are my sons. I also have a teenage sister, Aileen, who makes me thank GOD everyday that I didn't have a daughter. I've accumilated a number of grey hairs thanks to her. She's a good kid though. Even though I named her "trouble" a number of years ago. She manages to live up to that name.I'm doing the "myspace" thing mostly at the sub-concious prodding of my stand-up comedian in waiting bud from Arkansas, Mike Brown.I had a personality at one time or another, but the bank repossesed it due to non-payment. I recently aquired another one, but I'm not sure it fits too well and I'm going to try and bring it back without the reciept and get a slightly more sophisticated one. I tried to get one on ebay, but the shipping costs were like... through the roof. There's plenty more to know about ME. I mean, in the end, everyone need a little ME. People should get up each and every day wondering what I'M up to. And when you get down to it... isn't that just what the world needs? More ME?I'm sure my wife and children would comment on that, but after seeing what I'm up to, they've decided to disown me.Dammit.All Hail The next Mike Piazza! My son Tyler has become his Little League Teams Starting Catcher!.. width="425" height="350" ..

My Interests

Oh come now... do any of you *really* want to know or are you just trying to get me into bed? I mean... it's *so* easy to fake interests in me and once I open up and offer myself then it's BAM!... all physical... and I'm... I'm not sure I can... can handle that sort of thing again... I'm sorry... I'm getting all emotional now... The Rocketeer gets a new Job. Twin Peaks... Lego style.

Hey, like Zombie movies? How about Vampire flicks? I like them both, but only when well written. Well, I came across the follow Web Comics that combines the two into a very original idea that Vampires must protect the remaining humans on earth after zombies have taken over. Why? Because they need humans for their blood, of course? This webcomic, by Writer Bobby Crosby (no, not the Oakland A's shortstop) and artist Owen Gieni can be seen at http://www.lastblood.net. Check it out. Great GREAT stuff. Trust me.

I'd like to meet:

A rich-millionare gullible enough to believe I'm his long lost son.Oh, like *none* of you would mind that yourselves?

The greatest Band in history will finally answer my 30 year old wishes and reunite for a tour in 2007.

Sting, Stewart and Andy reunite. Does this mean I can die happy?

I'd like to meet David Wright, one of the best and brightest players in all of New York. This year's NL East Championship is just the start.

I'd say I'd like to meet a beautiful blonde willing to marry me... but I already have. Yeah, I don't know what she sees in me either. :)

Music:

The GREATEST BAND EVER: THE POLICE!!Much of the rest: U2, Green Day, Barry White, Elvis, Frank Sanatra, The Beatles, Enigma, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith, Rage Against The Machine, Mozart, Amadeus...

Movies:

Well... Quite a list. I'll try and keep in limited (the overall best): The Godfather 1 + 2, Donnie Darko, Tombstone, Last of the Mohicans, Searching for Bobby Fisher, Clerks, Big Trouble in Little China, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, American Beauty, Spider-Man 1 + 2, X-Men 1 + 2, The Usual Suspects, The Ref, Airplane 1 + 2, The Naked Gun, Unbreakable, Prince of Darkness, The Ring (to name a few).

Television:

This is easy cause television on a whole just... well... sucks. Current shows: Lost, The Shield, 24, The Sopranos, South Park, The Boondocks, Robot Chicken, Prision Break, The Nine, Desperate Housewives...Past shows: Twin Peaks, Police Squad, OZ, X Files, The Flash, The Prisioner, The Young Ones, Kids in the Hall.

Books:

Oh God... I read like 3 new books a week and you want me to list them? How about just some favorites? First off, Stephen King is a God. I couldn't care less if he wrote a romance novel in brail, I'd read it. Other favorite authors include Mario Puzo and John Sandford. Ok, some of my favorite books: The Stand, The Entire Dark Tower Series but especially The Gunslinger and Wizard and Glass, Night Shift, It, Winter Prey, Hidden Prey, The Godfather, The Last Don, Omerta, The Family, Watership Down, The Curious Incident of the Dog at Midnight, The Worst Team Money Can Buy, Plague Dogs, Twilight Eyes, Clear and Present Danger, The Bad Guys Won, Amazin', Silent Bob Speaks... plus as a true comic geek I'm always on the lookout for the next good comic. As of now my favorites are 52, Invincible, Justice League of America, Ultimate Spider-Man, The Walking Dead, The Boys, and Secret Six. I loved (and miss) stuff like Preacher, Sandman, Formerly Known as The Justice League, Watchmen and The Golden Age.

Heroes:

Let's see... my heroes... heroes... hmmm... Well... after careful consideration i would have to say it has to be... ME. Yes *ME* DAMMIT. Just the fact I've gone this far in life and have NOT become a raging alcoholic is just... well... amazing. I mean, what do you look for in a hero anyway? Ok, you want a few REAL heroes? How about the cops or firemen who risk their lives everyday for us and get just SHIT pay for it? How about my Grandfather who fought in World War 1? How about the troops over in Iraq who are on the firing line for our way of life? How about my seven year old son tyler who is autistic and is as normal a 7 year old as possible? How about my mom who raised me to be who I am despite having to do it mainly on her own for most of it? How's that for some heroes?

My Blog

Oh, please relax...

After hearing the majority of Met fans lamenting the last 24 hours and the moves the Braves have made via the trade market and how the Mets are now going to miss the playoffs, I'm reminded just how br...

An "Arrested" Development?

I've always maintained that there were only two bands that I'd fork over hundreds of dollars to see live. One, is the Beatles, and that reunion is only happening with two more bullets. Yeah, ok.....
