About Me

Wize has been an MC for over 10 years and after all the adversity he has faced in all these years, he is still determined to achieve greatness and will stop at nothing until that day comes! One of his earliest achievements was when he accepted an award for ..Best Hip-Hop track.. at the Songwriters Association of Washington (S.A.W.) ceremony held in Virginia in November 2000. That is when he met Natural Causes Productions and they have maintained their friendship over the years. They have put out an album together and have done many shows around the D.C. and Virginia area including opening up for U-God last year. This man really started to get exposure in Massachusetts in May 2001 when he released his first full-length album "Going Against the Odds" independently. He finally got an idea of what it took to prosper in this business. Later on that year he teamed up with Steve Sweeney and they formed a group called The Unknown and put together several albums combining Hip-Hop with R&B and worked with platinum producers Brad Young and Dow Brain of Underground Productions (L.F.O.) on several tracks. After the demise of that group came about, he joined a live band called Frequency 7 and they did over 100 shows in New England, New Hampshire, Virginia, Baltimore, Connecticut, Cape Cod and New York in a year and a half. They graced the stage at Waterworks, The Paradise, Copper fields and CB-GB's just to name a few. They opened up for Bronson Arroyo at The Salt Box in Quincy, MA but their brightest moment was opening up for Ras Kass and Slaine at The Middle East in Feb. 2006. When this fierce MC joined forces with The UNDC, they released a track with Shabazz the Disciple (Sunz of Man) called ..Join Ranks.. and collaborated with Killah Priest (Sunz of Man, Wu-Tang Clan) on a track called "Constant Dreams" and they both received a great review by many all over the world as Wize finally got to bless a track with 2 MC's he grew up listening to. Now he is focused on his solo career, something he has neglected for years because of being in so many groups but will still collaborate with other artists and eventually be in another band. He has just released his new solo album "No Regrets" and intends on promoting it to the fullest extreme.
