About Me

My name is Adam and I lead S.I.C. Ministries under the guidance of Godâ€™s empowerment of the Holy Spirit. This ministry consists of a body of believers (from the teens to the elderly) who want to further the gospel of Christ and build each other up in the faith, equipping and exhorting one another in spiritual growth becoming strong soldiers in Christ. HOO-RAHH And he shall say to them, â€˜Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.â€™ Deuteronomy 20:3-4.. ..We are soldiers of Christ. And we have enlisted ourselves for life. And with courage, endurance, and hope, we will press forward. we may not have to fight long. But we will fight faithfully. We let ourselves rest upon His power. We have to give ourselves up to His care. We let ourselves prize Him even as chief among ten thousand. In His favor is life, and His loving-kindness is better than life. He will be our strength and our salvation.A good soldier must have true COURAGE. Ah, how important is this for you! You have many enemies to meet. Your enemies are the enemies of Christ. You must continually contend if you would conquer at last. These enemies are temptations around, that would lead you away, or drive yourself back from the Savior. Evil tendencies and habits of thought that would entangle and harass you. Evil men who surround you, and oppress you with their hostility to the Lord. The more faithful you are, the more your enemies will multiply, and the more earnestly they will oppose. If you are sluggish and careless in your life, they will not trouble you. If they can make you a traitor, or persuade you to desert the Master's cause, they will have accomplished their end. But if you strive to do the Master's will, and to follow Him truly and fully, then your enemies seem more hostile, and more bitter, and more multiplied. When you do good, evil is present with you.But what then? We ought to be the more bold and the more decided as a soldier. We must fight on. There is no other path. We see our great Leader before us, and we must follow after him. Soon the contest will be over, and then the victory will be ours. We are resolved rather to displease and to forsake all others, than to forsake or deny our glorious Lord.
