Okay, well, I have a lot of interests. I'm just interested in life and many different aspects of it. Oh, and people...I love people.Even though I'm supposably more left brained than right brained (which I can believe!), I still put my right brain to good use. I love all forms of art...both visual and performing, whether I'm creating or just admiring the artwork. I absolutely LOVE photography (especially taking photographs, but looking at them too), art (different subjects, "mediums", etc.), acting (weeee!), dance (my favorite to do is swing, latin, some ballroom, some jazz/hip-hop/choreographed performances, other), music (cd's, going to concerts, singing (not publically!), playing drums, doing music CD design, photography, and other band work), and pretty much any other form of visual/performing art out there. My left brain (being the supposed "dominant" side of my brain) is kept entertained too, as I feel I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Because I'm really outgoing (for the most part), people are usually surprised to find out that I'm a "bookworm." I just love reading. I also like writing (which requires some of the right brain too...whether poems, journaling, writing songs, or other stuff). I also like taking tests (IQ, personality, other), psychology/counselling, studying (life, people, evolution/creationism, various religions/beliefs, etc.).I also like hanging out with/talking to people, meeting new people and staying friends with old ones, helping people out, meaningful (not superficial) conversations, food, volunteering, Christian/church related activities, travel, movies, food, outdoor stuff (like camping, horseback riding, "caving"/spelunking, whitewater rafting, snowboarding/skiing, surfing- some day, hang gliding- some day, sky diving- some day, swimming, rollerblading, other). Oh yeah, and food. And sleep...that's a good one...too bad I'm more of a night person stuck in a day person's life! Doesn't mix well when I stay up late then have to get up at a decent hour the next morning =).
You? =). Honestly, I didn't join on here to meet new people...I have trouble keeping up with some of the people I do already know. But I really do like people and if you want to meet me (figuratively speaking), I would love to meet you as well (or at least read your blogs and/or read what you have to say about mine). I believe God has given me the ability to see some beauty in everyone...just like even Belle could see beauty in the beast, God still sees beauty in us and truly loves us...no matter how ugly we are on the inside or outside. "For while we were yet still sinners, Christ died for us." It takes a TRUE beauty like God to love a beast like us. Not that that should be an excuse to sin! I love meeting all types of people...doesn't matter where you've been, where you're going, or where you are now. Feel free to email me about anything you want, or just to say hi. Oh, and read (and comment on, if you want) my blogs (try "view all blog entries"-haha) =). Best part of my profile, I think... I've been told that as well.
I'm slowly answering all these questions...about one a week! Okay, I'll try to list at least SOME of my favorite bands. Supertones (breaking up this year), Skillet, Seventh Day Slumber, Steven Curtis Chapman, Stacey Orrico, Smalltown Poets, Skypark, Soul Embraced, Staple (there's a lot of good bands that start with "S" out there!), Switchfoot, the W's, Audio Adrenaline, Big Daddy Weave, DC Talk, Jeremy Camp, Eso Charis, Mortal treason, Big Tent Revival, the Roosevelts, POD, By the Tree, Casting Crowns, the Insyderz, Jeni Varnadeau, Jaci Velasquez, Luxury, U2, Jump 5, Micheal W. Smith, Geoff Moore, Scarecrow and Tinman, Ten to One, Kutless, Blindside, Petra, Newsong, Newsboys, Further Seems Forever, Justified, Pillar, Polar Boy, Rod Laver, Third Day, Underoath, Jars of Clay, Zoe Girl, SuperChick, Dead Poetic, Rock n' Roll Worship Circus, Providence, many more. Other good bands that I sorta know of are Burlap to Cashmere, Zao, East West, Eversfield, Showbread, Duron, Pedro the Lion, Nicole Nordeman, Moriah, Out of the Grey, The Juliana Theory, PFR, Plus One, Point of Grace, Reality Check, Burden of a day, Scatered Few, Emery, Until Eternity, Speck, Tait, Invisible Image, the Wedding, Forever Changed, Chris Rice, Beloved, As I Lay Dying, The Waiting...that's about it for now. I know a lot more good bands but can't think of them right now. I have several friends that are in bands, but nobody would know most of those anyway and some of them don't even have names yet or play publically, they just jam =).
Oh, you mean that thing that distracts people from life. Yeah, I watch that every so often.
