About Me

Latest News

In December 2007 Danny left Analogue Consumption. Due to him being such a big part of the band we decided to stop the band there. Since then the three remaining members decided to form a new band.
So we would like to thank everybody who came down to see us and supported us over the year, and for all those who wrote reviews and articles about us.
The new band are currently writing new material and working with a new member and hopefully be playing some shows very soon.

Thank you,
Analogue Consumption

Sounds Like:

"The dark yet finely-honed indie pop pomp of early Cure filtered through a digital blender and spat out onto a modern post-punk canvas. The winning formula is in the juxtaposition of moody atmospherics and high-tempo tunes, keys augmenting guitars to shiver-inducing effect.
They're dashingly accomplished."

"Elements of Pink Floyd in the melodies and Germanic motifs like Kraftwerk without the monotone. Keys playing euphoric notes that wash over you. There's an unhurried feel to the band that results in a very different atmosphere than the normal rock n roll pace.
The name Analogue Consumption, athough a mouthful, will be on everyone's lips by Christmas."
(thisisull.com)

"The best and brightest of the new Hull bands, who blew me away with their Epic, yet intimate brand of alternative electro-pop."
(Jason Karlson - Tenfootcity Magazine)

"First time I saw them I wrote them off as a merely pathetic pretenders to Joy Division, but how wrong could I be?"
(Mike Reynolds - Sandman Magazine)

"From the first note their music captivates the crowd. A band only just realising that they're onto something. Something big."
(Jason Karlson - Tenfootcity Magazine)

"These guys know how to play to their audience, as it went down like a cool soft beverage in the depths of summer!"
(James McGuire - Not Workin' 9 to 5)

"The band looked immaculate as ever, and are true gentleman of the music world, we can only look forward in anticipation to their next gig."
(James McGuire)
