PICA

LYSERGICALLY ENERGIZED HIGH INFIDELITY

About Me

SEX, DRUGS, and EXPERIMENTAL NOISE!!! Experimental noise disorder PICA was formed in early 1991 in Middletown, Pennsylvania by Steve O'Donnell, then guitarist for grindcore band EXIT - 13. Utilizing dilapidated turntables, 8 Tracks tape players, guitars and layered tapes, he began recording hours of experimental noise music with a sinister psychedelic edge. PICA were featured on the double disc compilation The Japanese - American Noise Treaty (RR 6930-2). A proper 24 track studio recording was made in now defunct Sound Cage Studio, Lancaster, PA during February 1996. These 11 tracks were released by Release Entertainment as The Doctors Ate The Evidence (RR 6944-2). O'Donnell has continued recording experimental / industrial music to this day, emassing tens of hours of complete and incomplete tracks. A full-length CD retrospective is planned for release in late 2006 on Recording Fra Diavlo.
