I usually get obsessed with a topic and will read anything related even if it crosses genre for a while. Time travel was a biggie for a while, and I read science articles, sci fi novels, time travel romance, fantasy, mainstream fic., etc. as long as it was related to the idea. My favorite on that topic was The Time Traveler's Wife. Right now I'm on a shapeshifter/ vampire kick, so if you have any recommendations....Some authors I dig: Marion Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card, Sherilyn Kenyon, Alice Walker, Gloria Naylor, Robert Jordan, Toni Morrison, Maggie Shayne. Also, I love comic books, but gave them up a few years ago, when space for the 45+ full long boxes became an issue (not to mention the expense). I still miss them sometimes though.
Pearl "Mommom" Silverman, who knitted her way through good times and bad and is sorely missed; Mom, who is a fabulous, outgoing, smart, beautiful woman with the ability to make people feel at ease; all the women, famous and not, who paved the way so that I don't have to be afraid to have a voice.
