Rodney Mullen (probably the greatest skater of all time.) Spike Jonze would be cool to meet. Daewon Song (another crazy skateboarder) Jason Lee, Bruce Campbell. Chris Haslam, Jon Holland. Azam Kotadia..., Robert Rodriguez. The list goes on...
I like a whole lot of things, mostly relaxing music or "rock" music or something like that. Classical music is nice. Yep.
In no particular order: Office Space, Napoleon Dynamite, Almost Round Three (skatevid), Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Donnie Darko, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Matrix, Shaun Of The Dead, Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong (even though i have no idea what they are about, I just really like the action.) Subtleties (skatevid) Moment By Moment, Ninja Movie 1 & 2, Skate More, Sin City, The Mr. Bean Movie. I'm sure there are more.
My Dad, Daniel Joseph Schweers (rest in peace), the greatest teacher and inspiration in my life and still continues to be.Another man that i look up to, who was mentioned before, is Rodney Mullen, the way he skateboards and his precision and skill have always driven me to progress in skating and in other things. His positve look on skating and life showed me that if you relax and just enjoy yourself, your gonna have fun and probably get more work done. He invented tons of tricks that people do today including the flat land ollie, sure Alan Gelfand did it first in vert and thats where it came to be, but Mr. Mullen found out how to snap the tail on flat and pop the board up. with that trick he changed the sport forever. Without rodney skating wouldn't be the same today or it might not even exist.
