About Me

The Revelevens are a sort of punk/horror rock Frankenband assembled from parts of other bands in the DC/Baltimore area. The current lineup as of February 2007 consists of Carrie (Cheerleaders of the Apocalypse, Flinch), Shaun Rafferty (Cheerleaders of the Apocalypse, Die Cheerleader Die, Shorty), Billy Homeowner (the Homeowners) and Honus (So I Had To, Bulk Mulch)! Three members have switched instruments during the course of this band: Mike from guitar to bass, Billy from bass to guitar, and Shaun from drums to guitar. But now Mike's gone and Billy is back on bass. We're looking for a rhythm guitarist. The band was originally named Cheerleaders of the Apocalypse, but was renamed since only one of us was from the original lineup by that point. The Revelevens have had a few personnel changes since then, but at least Carrie and Shaun are original members. The Revs play mostly in the midatlantic region, but toured out to Las Vegas and back in 2006 to play RollerCon. We recorded an album, Show Me On the Chicken Where the Music Touched You, in the summer of 2006 and plan to re-release it soon, only better! We have received accolades from garageband.com, Northeast In-Tune Magazine, and most importantly, the audiences at all our shows.
