Born 1962...grew up in West Virginia, living in NYC since 1989. Many many types.... I love the Baroque composers a lot, as well as the Beethoven symphonies, lots of classic rock, the blues, many ethnic/world-music types, especially those strongly involving percussion.
The Matrix Trilogy, Cohen Brothers' films, Noir and noir-remakes of mysteries, period films (ie The Libertine, Being Julia) anything having to do with Helena Bonhamm Carter or Denzel Washington, and ANY filmed adaptation of Shakespeare (ie Kurosawa's "Ran" or Ian McKellan's "Richard III",) all of the "-Qatsi" film trilogy, Baraka, The Shawshank Redemption (and any Tim Robbins flick,) Memento, Martin Scorcese's films, Microcosmos, Being John Malkovich, and on and on....
