The band that I play in is The Wayword Sons. (http://waywordsons.com) We play a sexy mix of Folk and Blues mixed with flavors of Bluegrass and cheap beer. Its a new project for me and I am very happy to be a part of it. Ya ever heard of Burle Grass? Its worth giving it a listen. Yonder Mountain String Band recorded a whole CD (These Old Hands) with Burle Tunes. Like I said...I am very happy of the sitch!!!I also play solo shows of all my own music. I am and have been (for 13 years) a full time singin-songwritin', mountain hikin, dog walkin, Colorado dwellin', bluegrass pickin, Grateful dead headin', bike ridin', sushi eatin, basically very happy guy that does what I love the most. PLAY MUSIC.....ORIGINAL MUSIC....and LIVE in the Mountains.My new CD is DONE and OUT!!!! Its called "Out of Nowhere" and its quite fancy. It was realeased on July 4th, 2007 and is a collection of 12 of my songs. I am fortunate to have some friends on it like.....Sally Van Meter (Queen of Dobro), Drew Emmitt (Leftover Salmon), Jeff Austin (Yonder Mountain String Band), Travis Book (The Stringdusters) and many more amazing musicians from the kick ass Colorado music scene.Greg Schochet produced it (and played amazing mandolin) and Brian Neubauer engineered.I was then VERY lucky to have Gus Skinas on board to help with the mix and master.....but as if luck wasnt enough...he also ran it through his DSD (direct Stream Digital) unit. Its a new technology that you will hear of soon....Lets see... he just remastered Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon", "the Wall", every Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Norah Jones,Elton John.....yada yada yada....the list goes on....needless to say my Cd sounds amazing.....kind of like the band is in the room with you when you listen to it.You can hear 4 songs on this site and please "buy" all means....endulge in one.Hope you enjoy!!!!
