Dr. Don and the Boogie Monsters is a quickly evolving music machine, spreading throughout Chicagoland and beyond. It is a meeting and exploration of elite musicians from groups such as Jack Straw, Leadfoot , Speargrass, Vida blues, and The Super American Happy Fun Good Time Jam Band ;they have come together to create great improvisational music and have fun doing it. Their music can be described as eclectic, free-form rock and roll with overtones of folk, jazz, country and funk. The driving force here is their spontaneous, jazz-derived, driving jams; their loose and groovy attitude keeps their fans coming back for moreâ€¦anyone who has ever seen them will tell you that a Boogie Monsters show is an emotional high which will keep you grooving all night long..
