LARRY & JOSH...
...have gone on to form The Jezebelly. Not actually a band, but a songwriting/production team. They are writing and recording tunes for film and television. They also plan to produce songs for other artists. You can follow the link to check out some of the new material.
THE JEZEBELLY
ERIC...
...is now the new bassist for The Beauty Shop. One of the most well-respected bands in the C-U community. TBS often tours Europe, so our lil Eric will be adding several miles of experience this year.
THE BEAUTY SHOP
JESSE...
...has relocated to New York where he is the new drummer for American Minor. They are working on material for their second full length. AM just recently toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
AMERICAN MINOR
After almost 6 years, 300 shows, 2 EPs, 1 LP, 18 states and 75,000 miles logged; Lorenzo Goetz will be calling it quits. The band has left it's mark on the local and national scene, providing dance-inducing tunes for people in search of a good time. "Everyone in this band is in a transitional phase, so this makes a lot of sense right now" says founder/singer/songwriter/guitarist Larry Gates.

"Lorenzo Goetz is back with a handful of new tracks that stay true to their funky, hip swaggering brand of rock that is as well suited for a shady dive bar as a chic hipster hangout."
- Nick Murray, Justaddnoise.com (Wylie, TX)
"Heavy is serious fun."
- Laura Hamlet, Playback Stl (St. Louis, MO)
"solid, genre melding, feel good music."
- Stacy Mangual, Dailysonic.com (Flushing, NY)
"so charmingly WEIRD."
- woxy.com (Cincinnati, OH)
"groovy and soulful and sure to get you on your feet."
- Brad Amorosino, Erasingclouds.com (Philadelphia, PA)
"like what I imagine Sublime would've sounded like had they grown up in Michigan instead of Long Beach and listened to more Beatles and less Marley."
- Nick Murray, Justaddnoise.com (Wylie, TX)
"a heady mix of creative wordplay, fun sounds and friendly pop music The Beatles might have made - if they had emerged in 2004."
- Laura Hamlett, Playback (St. Louis, MO)
"The challenge for a Lorenzo Goetz album is to stand on its own, even if no studio recording can compare to the bacchanalian revelry that makes Lorenzo Goetz such a popular concert draw.Nor can a single song epitomize the pudding of pop, hip hop, Brit and stoner rock, and mariachi that more or less is Lorenzo Goetz, although "Muy Macho" and "Flagrante Delicto (3some)" come close. Two sides of the same coin, the former is coy and buoyant and signals that this album means business, while the latter is a sultry slow-burner that conjures images of some Gypsy tea parlor an hour inland from the Mediterranean. "
- Todd J. Hunter, The Buzz (Champaign, IL)
"as much flavor and grooves as a bucket of peppers."
- Crookedcamera.net (Minneapolis, MN)
"Groovy jams with interesting rhythms and sounds. Lennon-style vocals and songs, only with indie attitude."
- Hybrid Magazine (Denver, CO)
"(Jesus Elephant) actually lives up to the generally ridiculous praise bands heap upon themselves, gently infusing strains of the Fab Four into its own distinctly Americana sound."
- Leo Weekly (Louisville, KY)
"This whole disc just grooves."
- Jordan Schwartz, Openingbands.com (Champaign, IL)
"A little hip-hop, a generous helping of mellow rock, and a dash of retro make for a musical delicacy."
- Meghan Groth, The Spectrum (Buffalo, NY)
