Game On Vol 2 MixtapeAs a growing force in the world of hip-hop, Memphis list of young, talented artists is expanding rapidly and drawing national attention. With the spotlight shining heavily on the south as a whole, what we have known for years as underground is now being pushed into the mainstream. With a sound like no other, J.Sin is more than ready for his share of the attention being shown to this region.J.Sin, born Robert Jason Daniels, was raised in a military family which forced him to move frequently and gave him a golden opportunity to experience life outside of his familys southern roots. "I never actually lived in Memphis until I was 13,but it was home to me because my parents were from here and we would always visit for the summer and Christmas break." says J.Sin.J.Sin is currently juggling several different projects, including a debut solo album, a mixtape, a soundtrack, and numerous collaborations with other local artists. After a falling out with his crew,Just Us,Sin has been grinding non-stop to build his own label, Yung Face Entertainment. J.Sin is a busy man with a career oriented work ethic. "You dont work, you dont eat." he states frequently.Following in the footsteps of other local artists, J.Sin started putting songs together on a four track recorder and hustling tapes at school. At a young age, he signed his first deal and quickly learned that he did not know everything about the business like he thought. It was a cheap lesson learned. Sin says about his first contract. "I knew I wanted to rap, but I didnt have a plan." All that has been changing lately though..After spending 2006 as the Co-CEO of Just Us Entertainment, Sin has finally ventured out on his own, starting Yung Face Entertainment. About his old team he says "I learned alot about what to do and more about what not to do in this business over there...We all have different goals, and it was different ideas about how to achieve those goals that got in the way of some good talent. I still talk to most of the members of JU and we're still cool. It's just my time to really make a move in this rap game." Anyone who knows Sin will tell you, his ambition is what stands out the most. J.Sin says, "Anybody can rap..hell, everybody raps, but its what you do after you step out of the booth that is going to make you or break you." In November, 2005, Just Us Entertainment released J.Sin's first mixtape "Game On Vol.2" and with that under his belt,a new label spells out a new future for J.Sin. "I'm just grindin, staying in the studio, and making the moves necessary to become a major force in southern hip-hop." Sin says. With all the talent and work put into everything he does, J.Sin is destined to be the next big thing out of Memphis, Tennessee.
