This is the About Me section so I will make it short and simple. Born on an army base in a crap little town in Texas ... lived in Ohio for the years that really shaped what kind of a nutcase I was to become ... I then moved to Virginia with my family in '88. After high school, I changed looks, friends, attitude and ideals many times. During all of my strange life flux, I still managed to lead a double life and hold down decent jobs. It allowed me to buy a house, a couple cars, and pay the bills. I now live in RVA with my wonderful wife of 4 years. I am a Lead Microcomputer Analyst and Peripheral Specialist, which basically means: I fix technology when it breaks. I am an obsessive compulsive work-a-holic with a creative side. Spiderbite Studios is my passion and more or less my "side-business", it is also the way for me to be creative with Photography, Videography, Graphics Design, Advertising, Music and anything else that you can do with a computer.
So now, on to what this page is all about:
Spiderbite Studios : Digital Media & Design
It all started about 6 years ago as a way for me to help promote and advertise unsigned electronic artists. Over the years I have helped it grow into a pretty well known name around the electronic music scene as well as the local advertising scene. After helping get bands like Marazene , Brainclaw , Face Down , MDM and a few others onto the "behind the scenes" discs for the last two Matrix movies ... we have continued to expand our reach into the world of movie soundtrack, audio design and production. I am striving to be a better full service Digtal Media & Design company, by also doing promotional photography and design, website design, custom digital and print advertising and many other things that go into getting artists that we love that extra nudge into super-stardom. SbS is also a way for me to do fashion, glamour and fetish photography and integrate that into some of the work that I do with musicians. I have begun to also write and direct music videos for some of the musicians that have been with SbS from the early stages. Working with Lunar Melee pictures has also let me expand my sound design and soundtrack grasp a little, to include some of these bands that have been so good to us by including them in more independant films soundtracks also, so that they can be heard by even more people. I am continuing to make my virtual company more and more each day ... because it is my artistic outlet ... and I would never dream of trying to supress that.
