I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

"I live the life of the sniper, the deviant, the criminal, and the worker who doesn't show up for his job. Every time I put on my ski mask, I feel the warmth of the proletarian community around me... Every action of destruction and sabotage seems to me a manifestation of class solidarity. Nor does the eventual risk bother me: rather, it fills me with feverish excitement, like a man waiting for his lover. Nor does the pain of my adversary bother me."

Radical intellectuals explore the relationship between research and resistance.

What is the relationship of radical theory to movements for social change? In a world where more and more global struggles are refusing vanguard parties and authoritarian practices, does the idea of the detached intellectual, observing events from on high, make sense anymore? In this powerful and unabashedly militant collection, over two dozen academic authors and engaged intellectuals—including Antonio Negri and Colectivo Situaciones—provide some challenging answers. In the process, they redefine the nature of intellectual practice itself.
Check out this new collection on AK Press in which I have a contribution written along with two friends and co-authors:
Do It Yourself . . . and the Movement Beyond Capitalism
by Ben Holtzman, Craig Hughes, Kevin Van Meter

Cooking With Ole Ma' Tilton - Second Expanded Edition
Cooking With Ole Ma' Tilton collects some of the illustrious Jodi Tilton's favorite recipes with a few of my best dishes, a sampling of ideas contributed by Jodi's friends, and a few from other sources.
- from the Introduction

Two years ago I put this little collection together for Jodi. A few copies were printed on the 'instabook machine' for her, but the print run wasn't large enough to get copies to everyone who wanted one. It seems like a damn good thing to do now - so I have put together a second expanded edition with a few new recipes, photos, and a new forward . Friends out at Eberhardt Press in Portland have just finished the print run and they arrived in New York a few days ago, so if you want one let me know now (as there are very few print copies left)!
