ANARCHIST HIP HOP The Official MALONE Myspace Page

About Me

Malone is a highly politicized and culturally aware artist from North West London. Malone sets himself aside from the current crop of artists who continue to perpetuate images of materialism and self-gratification. The modesty and thought provoking elements inherent within Malone’s music makes the listening process a truly humbling experience. His love for Hip Hop from an early age has coincided with his desire to express his angst at the problems he sees everyday. Rapping for Malone has become an entity in which to express his deepest thoughts and feelings regarding the World in which he encounters.Malone signed with Kemet Entertainment Records in 2006 after previously releasing a promotional EP with DJ Downlow, and experiencing widespread airplay on Itch FM, alongside the THC collective. Since then, Malone has worked with some of the biggest producers in the UK including Joe Buhdha, Baby J, ShowNProve, DJ Flip and Chemo. After doing the rounds at various open mics across London and performing at the notorious Speakers Corner in Brixton, Malone’s love for performing stems from his relationship with his audience. The crowd is an element of Hip Hop that the artist has no control over; it is the passion and honesty of the crowd at Malone’s live shows that has helped drive Malone to create music of the highest integrity.Recently, Kemet Entertainment Records were forced to withdraw all future projects due to financial difficulties, and Malone now seeks to release material independently over the internet, whilst keeping his options open regarding other record labels.Malone is a refreshing talent within the UK rap scene, an honest hard working rapper who truly does not compromise himself in his pursuit for artistic glory.
