Photography, treks/long walks, travelling (I could spend the majority of my time visiting and learning about new places, but my family would not be too impressed if I did so!). Travelling around the world and seeing things first hand is the only way one can get a realistic idea of what life is like in a particular place. Our government, and the media sure as hell won't tell us the truth - creative writing, skiing, fishing, live gigs (especially Muse!), tornado chasing (one day... in the meantime, I'll just have to get as close as possible and hope for the best!)
I love hanging out w/my few very close friends and family, and going to serene places to think, i.e. hills/seaside/ruined abbeys any remote area.
I'd like to meet:
Love meeting new people, although I'm horribly shy and tend to get very quiet, or try and escape into the shadows until I really get to know someone.. BUT I'd LOVE to meet Matthew Bellamy. He's a musical genius and has an amazing, chill inducing voice... pure dreaminess, and his/Muse music makes me think about life and whats actually happening behind our backs in this world we sometimes struggle to survive in.
OCT 2006 - Met Muse and even got to hang out with them for a bit... one of the best days of my life... they're really nice guys..
I'd like to meet Paul McCartney, but that goes back to my childhood. The first band I was really in to was Wings (although an Aerosmith album I received for my 10th birthday was the start of my life long passion for music) but was way too young to see them in concert. I had a massive range in musical tastes (my dad was a musician and played guitar and keyboards on the weekends when he wasn't working his normal day job, so I grew up listening to all sorts of musical styles). I just thought he was really talented. OK..I was secretly in love with Paul actually.
I would also be interested in meeting Angelina Jolie.. for several reasons. She's beautiful inside and out, but seems to really care about planet earth.. or does she?
That's about it... people are people (the good and the misinformed, confused and/or generally evil), but some people just touch us in various ways during our life time...and some we'll never really know.
In the Pacific NW/Seattle area and interested in getting involved in some amazing musical possibilities?

Movies:
Any film with Freddie Prinze, Jr in it. I like 'Boys and Girls'.. it's a great film about what the lack of communication can do to a relationship! He's intelligent, and sooo hot, but I do really enjoy his work. Also like Tom Hanks films, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, All the Harry Potter films! I saw Daniel Radcliff in Equus in the London Westend in March 07.. absolutely outstanding. I really enjoy psychological thrillers and movies that make you think 'outside the box'.
Television:
History programmes, documentaries, archaeology based shows, paranormal (I grew up in a house which was occupied by something other than my family and still seem to pick up on things from the other side... or?) and music vids of course. I also LOVE watching the original Twilight Zone episodes which have finally come out on DVD. (and LOVE Seinfeld..) Otherwise, not a big tv watcher. May have something to do with the fact that we still only have 4 channels.
The Office (UK) is good.. totally takes the piss out of working in an office!
Books:
Love to read ..... I'm a hopeless romantic, so love those happy ending girly books. Am working my way through Steven King's Dark Towers series.. fantastic! Also reading through The Secret, and Joseph Campbell's 'The Hero With a Thousand Faces. Such a fascinating insight on Myth and it's relation to our lives, the past and the future. I also love true crime, history, conspiracy theories and travel reads. We are only told what we're meant to know, and it's often times not the truth, regardless of who is telling us. I like to hear/read other peoples points of view on things. We ourselves must seek out the truth.
Heroes:
Kieron Vaughan Deeming. He went after his dreams, and helped to better the lives of so many people and families in Papua New Guinea, Namibia, and other parts of the world by creating and engineering fresh water supplies.. he also made people smile all around the world with the love and compassion he so freely gave. He will always be my hero, and he will always be with me.
"Eerie whispers trapped beneath my pillow -
won't let me sleep.
Your memories - I know you're in this room -
I'm sure I heard you sigh.
Floating in-between, where our worlds colide". Muse 'Thoughts of a dying athiest'
