About Radio Inferno Festival
Radio Inferno is the International Gothic festival located in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Radio Inferno is interesting in new, unusual sound and searches for creative people and bands to present their music and art to lanced russian public.The organisers of Radio Inferno are fond of development of domestic stage and its international representation and brilliant, unique style of festival.
The first festival which took place in 21 of January, 2002 presented the most interesting professional avantguard and gothic bands from Saint Petersburg, Moscow and Arkhangelsk. The festival got great responce in press, and in 2003 the geography of participants was expanded. The second festival presented the love-metal finnish band Charon, Stillife from Rostov-on-Don and the most interesting musicians from St.-Petersburg.
The third Radio Inferno festival presented the much more rich palette of music. There were Arcana from Sweden, Kuroshio Current from Finland, and also about twenty bands and DJs from St.-Petersburg, Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Ryazan and Kirov. This event was spoken about in Petersburg mass media, and the festival started to become well-known abroad.
