FELIXFAUREAU

we are the hopeless / we are the damned

About Me

The foundations of the band were laid almost 5 years ago; taken up as a passtime rather than a venture. Writing and practicing irregularly meant that we were unable to take our efforts any further. Now in mid-2007, five of us have come together and begun writing some exciting music. Practices are scheduled which should be followed up shortly by some recordings.

The name FELIXFAUREAU is drawn from a former French President named Félix Faure who died suddenly whilst with a young prostitute - apt when considering that the state of society, its sectors and its vast array of individuals are significant and identifiable influences in the works of the band; with the soundtrack combining hardcore, dirty southern rock, noisecore and post-punk.

Updates:
19/08/07 - entered rehearsal studio and pulled two songs together ('Strap-on & Enjoy The Ride' and 'Milk Was A Bad Choice, But So Was Mankind')
