My Interests

Music, music, music. Gymming, I enjoy biking with my fella too. I adore comedy and music. I am big into Volkswagens and own a 1971 Beetle 1300 in toilet blue. Would like to own a camper again. I like Lambrettas,Vespas and all things Mod.

I'd like to meet:

Any other Smiths/Morrissey mad people. Any VW fans (Bug/Camper) and anyone who can make me laugh.

Music:

I enjoy a huge range of music from The Smiths and Morrissey, Joy Division, Monaco, New Order to The Style Council! I was big into the rave scene in the early nineties so still appreciate some dance music (in particular, dancy, piano house). I also like The Beatles, Lou Reed and anything punky, a bit of Acid Jazz.I quite like Coldplay, Led Zep and a bit of Tears for Fears (early stuff only)The Pixies, The New York Dolls and The Smashing Pumpkins. The Jam were and are cool. Northern Soul appeals to me. At the moment I am mostly into, The Arctic Monkeys,The Zutons, The Gorillaz. I quite like The Editors and enjoying The Foo Fighters and Muse. I enjoy Tori Amos although I am currently fell out with her as she made unkind remarks about Morrissey at her most recent Manchester gig (sob) most of the audience joined in (bastards) I bet most of them didnt even know who he was.I have had a major flirt with PULP. Jarvis is so cool. I like The Killers and The Fall. Dusty Springfield is amazing.the Klaxons are cool also.I love music, it reaches me deep inside. I would struggle to manage without my beloved music it in my life.

Movies:

Not many as I have a short attention span. I like Pulp Fiction, Quadraphenia, 24hr Party People, A Taste of Honey and of course The Wizard of Oz.One day I SHALL own some ruby slippers, just like Dorothy. I also like The Full Monty, I fancy the tubby one.

Television:

Coronation Street is my favourite. Other than that I love comedy (the right sort)My favourites are :- Old Vic & Bob stuff, Green Wing, The Office, Extras (Oh yes!)Monty Python, Not The Nine O Clock news (the best), Father Ted, Alan Partridge, Big Train and my ultimate favourite - Phoenix Nights. Oh yay! Peter Kay is very funny. The League of Gentlemen are funny too.Pauline is class. I enjoy factual nature programmes or documentaries. Always enjoy anything written by Jimmy McGovern, gritty and real man! Fred Dibnah is quite cool too.Life on Mars was amazing (I really fancy Gene Hunt - inexplicable I know) and I'm into Peep Show too.

Books:

I am big into my Psychology. Anything by Ronnie Lang (although I struggle to understand it) or Carl Jung. I read a lot about Holistic Therapies too. I enjoy biographies and stuff about social history. Not really into novels, not real enough I prefer real lives.

Heroes:

Morrissey, John Lennon,Johnny Marr, Oscar Wilde, Christopher Ecclestone and my Dad (Fad)
