Dietro al nome Junior si celano tre ragazzi nati e cresciuti nella profonda provincia americana. Kiley Bland (voce e chitarra) e Steve Cox (batteria) vengono da Gladewater, una cittadina di campagna del Texas dove a ogni angolo di strada si trovano un negozio di antiquariato, uno di liquori e una chiesa mentre Adam Hoffoss (basso) viene addirittura da Dixie Inn, un ameno villaggio di 340 anime della Louisiana. Un ambiente non certo facile in cui coltivare la propria passione per il punk-rock, ma Kiley, Steve e Adam ce l'hanno fatta.

Kiley e Steve iniziano a suonare insieme al liceo, ma solo dopo aver arruolato Adam diventano una vera band e i loro live si trasformano in esplosioni di energia che iniziano a contagiare sempre più gente.
Il debutto discografico avviene nel 2001 con "Starving Artists Of The Year". Negli anni successivi il gruppo divide il palco con gente come Bowling For Soup, The All American Rejects, Everclear, Lifehouse e 12 Stones, e si esibisce a manifestazioni importanti (The Vans Warped Tour e Whisky A Go Go). Inoltre viene selezionato per suonare alle The Atlantis And Nashville New Music Conferences e nel 2003 riesce a strappare un contratto di sponsorship con la Budweiser True Music.

Dopo l'EP "Redneck, White And Blue", uscito nel 2004 solo negli USA, nel 2006 arriva nei negozi (anche quelli europei) "Y'all Ready To Rock?". "She's So Amazing", il brano scritto in collaborazione con il cantante dei Bowling For Soup Jaret Reddick, si impone al Texas Grammy Demo Review Contest sbaragliando la concorrenza di oltre 800 band. "Stand Up And Holler", singolo che viene passato spesso anche nelle radio italiane, viene addirittura scelta per "Children Of The Dirt 2", un film sul motocross freestyle con Travis Pastrana e Kenny Bartram.

Kiley and Steve started the band in high school in a small town where rodeos and high school football are a way of life. It's a place where there are 3 things on every corner: an antique store, a liquor store and a church. As you enter the city limits the sign reads: Gladewater, Texas Population: Just Good Folks.

Adam hails from Dixie Inn, LA. It's not a hotel, and it's not Los Angeles. It's simply the Home of Hamburger Happiness, the restaurant owned by Adams family for 30 years, and the place where he earned a living growing up. He was lost, but now he is found, and he understands now that there is more to happiness than burgers. It's ROCK!

Their performances are electrifying, and they've played with some of the biggest bands in the business - Bowling For Soup, The All American Rejects, Everclear, Lifehouse, 12 Stones, and many more. They were selected to showcase at the Atlantis and Nashville New Music Conferences, and recently received a Budweiser True Music sponsorship for 2003.

Junior released their debut album in 2001 entitled Starving Artists of the Year. It was a smashing success. The band is pumped about the new EP Redneck, White and Blue, which comes out in Fall 03/Winter 04. Redneck features the hit song She's So Amazing co-written by Grammy nominated Bowling For Soup lead singer Jaret Reddick. That song recently won them 1st Runner Up in the Texas Grammy Demo Review Contest held in Houston where they beat out over 800 submissions from bands across the state.
