Three individuals (Lai, Amina & James)
who had all been working within the music industry as producers, writers and artists met and came together in 2006 to form a music production company called Terabeats. They not only produce write and record their own music but they also are about to release their debut single “Something About The Way†. It’s a House track with a commercial arrangement, soulful vocal and funky bass line which has been labeled the new “Cure And The Cause†. It features vocals by one of the members of Terabeats James Collins , who recently features on a Channel 4 show called Chancers where he was mentored by the likes of John Legend, Matthew Knowles and Lemar .
Terabeats have begun to makes waves within the dance industry and were featured on Pete Tongs Fast Traxx show , which was viewed by over 10,000 people. They also achieved a lot of support in Ayia Napa where they toured this summer. The track has growing support being played on underground stations such as Rinse FM, Deja vu and Sweet FM , and now has been played on commercial station such as BBC 1XTRA and Choice FM and has been championed by Adam K at KISS FM .
Terabeats have achieved everything on their own merit, however a few record labels have began to show interest. They are currently getting ready to release further dance projects as well as other genres and develop their clothing line. They’ve been approached by the Princes Trust to give motivational talks to youth and their keen to tell their story and encourage more young people to be entrepreneurs like themselves.
Our Vision
The “Something About The Way†project is the beginning of a string of releases varying from Dance, R&B, Rock and Pop . They plan to establish “Terabeats†as a major force within the music industry throughout 2007 and beyond and plan to demonstrate their diversity, unique style of production, song writing and eye- catching visuals with an aim to one day establish Terabeats as globally recognized brand including fashion, TV and lifestyle .
