Neanderthal Alien

THE STORY-Neanderthal Alien formed in 2004 as an experimental improvisation group featuring guitar, bass, drums, and tenor sax.Their only motto was to play and not talk too much about the music. The band quickly recorded their first album entitled "Neanderthal Alien" and left to tour the United States that following December.In Dec '05 Neanderthal Alien played 20 U.S. dates covering Colorado, Austin, Houston and much of the mid-west. While there, long time Amsterdam friend Steve Mitchell crossed their path and joined in. After returning to Amsterdam saxophonist Rob Armus decides to move to Paris. A few weeks later the band receives an e-mail from a singer by the name of Dean Bowman. One thing leads to another and Dean joins the band for their tour/recording session in Poland (July'05). Out of this tour and the recording sessions, the forthcoming album Coming Down was born.The members of this band hail from Serbia, Germany, and the U.S. They are currently living in Amsterdam, Poland, LA, and NYC. On paper it may be confusing or seem like a "project" but for the members of this band the varying nationalities and places of residence are a non stop source of inspiration, information, and understanding.Neanderthal Alien still has available dates for the following time periods:Summer 2006- July 10- Aug 7Autumn 2006- Oct 15-Nov 13Winter 2007- January (India/Asia)
