I act in and watch movies as well as work sound for them. If something blows up or catches on fire that's great. I'm a people watcher, so if I'm looking at you you may or may not have a booger hanging out of your nose neither does that mean I think you are hot. I'm a sucker for Asian babies, so if you happen to have an Asian baby I'm that guy making goofy faces at it in the grocery checkout line- it's an allergic reaction due to the presence of extreme cuteness. I've been known to read a book or two. I am a Business school grad, so business topics interest me- core business, stock market stuff, it's all good. I'd like to travel more than I have. I am going to learn how to sail this upcoming year and someday I'd like to jump out of an airplane, you know with a parachute.
I'd like to meet:
The log lady. A lot of dead people unfortunately: Sei Shonagon, Malcom X, Elizabeth I, and my great Grandfather. As for the living ones: Steven Spielberg, Michael Milken, Walter Murch, Makiko Esumi, Gary Oldman, and Tim Blake Nelson- so I could punch him in the gob.
Movies:
BladeRunner, Brick, Leon, LOTR, Sense and Sensibility, All The President's Men.
Television:
Twin Peaks. I have been on a Twin Peaks binge lately- Damn fine coffee!
Books:
There was a time when I read a fair amount of Japanese stuff, so Sei Shonagon, Yasunari Kawabata, Banana Yoshimoto, Natsume Souseki, and Junzo Shono are personal faves- They tend to write about relatively low-key stories and seem to find a way to plug directly into your brain and start typing emotions and colors.
